Day 6: Testing the Programme

So, it was time to test the programme I was given. Even though my body ached from the football ordeal, we went down to the gym and started. All in all it went well. I struggled with some of the weight machines, as in putting out the required number of reps, but that is the idea right? Also did 40 minutes of cardio (20 min crosstrainer, 20 min rower). I admit, I am more knackered than I have ever been after the gym... and a good nights sleep! I am happy with it though, I felt like I did a proper workout!

Food wise, well it all went well up until the point I got home for dinner and it was decided (not by me) that we are going to have an Indian take out as it was late. I only had a curry and a poppadom, but I still feel bad. Luckily, after I checked the calories, it was not that bad and I just managed to stay on my daily target, with 73 to spare.

Tomorrow is the first week over and even though not much has happened, I think I have laid out a plan that might work, at least regarding the exercise. Hopefully we will see some progress next Weighday!

  2. Good going man! I'm seriously considering joining the gym for a few months, just to use the rowers and the weights, but then I remember the cost! I'm playing footy 3 times a week now, and swimming once, but it's not the same as a good workout at the gym. Very focussed.

Also, having an Indian is WAY better than snacking out! :)
